If you have Document View layouts that you would like to customize a little further, our newly released feature Conditional Containers (June 2023) will allow you to create many different templates in one Document View.

To start, add a Container and scroll to the bottom of the Settings menu to expand Visibility Settings.

Click through the settings to add a filter. Close the container settings when you're done.

When you are on an element where the filter settings are met, your container will be marked as Visible. When your element does not match the filter settings, it will be shown under an expandable section marked with the # Hidden.

Note: Lookup fields and Formulas are not supported as fields to filter Containers by.
